Panda’s Blog: Now with Pumpkins!

By Panda

[Editor’s Note: With Season One of the Mark Aldrich and Panda sketch comedy show underway, Panda noticed that she now has fans online who want to know more about her, so she has decided to write and publish a blog about her life. By the way, if you have not started to watch, episodes one through six of Mark Aldrich and Panda are available on YouTube, and each episode is about ten minutes long and hilarious, if I say so myself. And now, here’s Panda with week two of Panda’s Blog.—Mark]

Panda’s Blog for MONDAY
Monday October Something 2021, 9:33 a.m.: Meghan and I are painting. Pumpkins today. Or they are big squash. We don’t know, but they’re being painted and I’ll post pictures when we are done but here’s a teaser of one that is drying. I’m scared to post it tho’, because what if it turns out ugly. Oh well, I don’t care. Remember that it’s not done yet tho!!!:

[Editor’s Note: In an online chat between Panda, Meghan, and Mark, the topic of musicians came up and the name of Niccolò Paganini (October 1782 – 27 May 1840), seen at top, came up, which led to this first entry in what may or may not be a series: “Panda’s Poetry Parade.”—Mark]

It hangs beside my bed.
And every night I close the door like Paganini says.

STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION
[Editor’s Note: Meghan’s friend Panda, whom viewers of their improv comedy show The The Ding Wrong Show (available on YouTube) met long ago and who introduced herself to readers of this website a while back, decided that for this month’s movie review, she would literally include you the reader in her film journey …

“What’s the reader’s name?”

“What’s that, Panda?”

“You said, ‘You, the reader,’ like it’s a person you know in person.”

“That was a turn-of-phrase, something writers use to make all of our readers feel like we are right there with them. This website has many readers.”

“Many?”

HOT TUB TIME MACHINE
[Editor’s Note: Meghan’s friend Panda, whom viewers of their live improv comedy show The The Ding Wrong Show (available on YouTube) met long ago and who introduced herself to readers of this website a while back, was pleased with the feedback she received for her first-ever movie review for the website you are now reading that–

“Ever. Don’t forget to put ‘ever,’ Mark.”

“Panda, I wrote that. Your ‘first-ever’ review for MeghaZine appeared last month. People read what you had to say. I can even show you how many times people read it, if you want to see.”
